Definitions

Wisdom & Wonder Co. provides its customers with homeschool curriculum, teacher guides, booklists, notebooking pages, seasonal challenges, and related educational materials through our website, email communications, and digital platforms. Hartford Press, LLC is the legal business entity that owns and operates Wisdom & Wonder Co. When we say "we," "us," "our," or "Wisdom & Wonder Co.," we mean Hartford Press, LLC doing business as Wisdom & Wonder Co. When we say "you" or "customers," we are referring to individuals and families who use our services and materials (whether free or paid). When we say "Terms," we are referring to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Accepting These Terms

Please read these Terms before purchasing, downloading, or using any Wisdom & Wonder Co. materials. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or use our products, services, or materials. Purchases, Payment Plans, and Pre-Orders

Prices are shown at the time of purchase. Where a payment plan is offered, you agree to complete all scheduled payments. Access to materials purchased on a payment plan may be suspended if a scheduled payment fails and is not resolved. Pre-ordered products are delivered on or about the release date stated at the time of purchase. Release dates are estimates and may change; we will notify you by email of any significant delay. Seasonal challenges and courses are delivered by email and through our platforms on the schedule described at the time of purchase.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the digital nature of our curriculum, guides, challenges, and products, we do not offer returns, refunds, or stop payments on payment plans. For pre-orders, refunds will only be issued if a pre-ordered item is not released. If you believe you have been billed in error, please email us at hello@wisdomandwonderco.com and we will make it right.

Your License to Use Our Materials

When you purchase or download Wisdom & Wonder Co. materials, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own family or household. You may print or download as many copies as you need for the children in your home. You may not share, forward, post online, sell, sublicense, or otherwise distribute our materials, in whole or in part, outside your household. Use in a co-op, classroom, tutorial, or other group setting requires a separate license; please email us to ask. All original text, lesson plans, guides, design, and layout in Wisdom & Wonder Co. materials are the copyrighted work of Hartford Press, LLC. Booklists, reading schedules, and curriculum sequences we publish are our original work product, whether offered free on our website or in purchased materials. Works of art, literature, and other sources featured in our materials are in the public domain unless otherwise noted, and are credited to their creators and collections.

Privacy Policy

When you purchase from Wisdom & Wonder Co., download a free guide, or join a challenge, you will be asked to provide certain personal information, such as your name, email address, and payment information. Hartford Press, LLC will store your personal information but will not sell it or share it with any third parties, except where necessary to provide the services offered. For example, we use third-party platforms such as our website host, email service provider, and payment processor to operate our business. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by us. We will use your personal information only to provide the materials you have requested, to send you our emails, and to respond to your requests. You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email we send. Our services are intended for use by parents, guardians, and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us and we will delete it. In the event that we are required to disclose your personal information in order to comply with the law or legal process; protect or defend our rights or property, or the rights or property of others; enforce these Terms; or respond to claims that the content of any material on our system violates the rights of others, we will inform you (at the email address you provided) as soon as practicable, provided that it is lawful for us to do so.

Community Rules

When you use Wisdom & Wonder Co. services or materials, or interact with us or other customers in any challenge, course, or community space we offer, you must adhere to the following ground rules: Be kind. Do not threaten Wisdom & Wonder Co. or any of its customers. Do not use hateful, abusive, harassing, libelous, or obscene language toward other customers or toward us. Do not misrepresent our materials as your own, or as endorsed by any organization.

Third Party Links

In our materials, we may include links to third-party websites and resources, such as booksellers, library catalogs, and other educational sites. Some of these may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. Wisdom & Wonder Co. does not otherwise endorse, nor are we an affiliate of, any third-party links included in our materials.

Nature of Our Materials

Wisdom & Wonder Co. materials are educational resources offered to support home education. They are not a substitute for your own judgment as a parent or educator, and we make no guarantee of any particular educational outcome. You are responsible for complying with the homeschool laws and requirements of your state or country.

Limitations of Liability

Under no circumstances, including, without limitation, negligence, shall Hartford Press, LLC or Wisdom & Wonder Co. be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages relating to the use of, or inability to use, our services or materials. We are not liable for any injuries to a person or property arising from activities described in our materials, including but not limited to nature study, outdoor exploration, handicrafts, and science activities. Adult supervision is required for all such activities. Our services and materials are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hartford Press, LLC, Wisdom & Wonder Co., and all affiliates, officers, members, employees, agents, and suppliers from any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of our services or materials, including but not limited to your violation of this agreement. We may, at our sole discretion, assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you. The assumption of such defense or control by us, however, shall not excuse any of your indemnity obligations.

Right to Terminate

Hartford Press, LLC may at any time decide to alter, amend, modify, or discontinue our services, all in our sole discretion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

General

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that you will bring any claim or cause of action arising out of your use of our services or materials in the courts located within Douglas County, Colorado, and you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. You agree that any claim or cause of action must be filed within one year after such claim arose or it shall be forever barred. If any provision contained in these Terms is determined unenforceable, that provision will be severed and replaced with one that most closely reflects the intent of the original provision, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms set forth the entire agreement between you and Hartford Press, LLC and supersede any prior communications or agreements.
